Two different days; Two different ways of staying fit!

It has been a busy weekend at David Lloyd and for me... phew!
Saturday was packed full of PT fun and games for our "PT experience day" where I had my own new experience myself! I have been looking to expand my own horizons into group exercise classes and one idea was holding a circuits class - so of course Kieran pushed me into the deep end and I set up my first class in the Studio! I am so lucky to have the amazing support of my manager and work colleagues who made the experience incredibly fun and easier for me, thank you.
This was the set up:
"Barbell Squats - Push Ups - Front Raises with a Plate - Burpee long jumps.
Barbell Row - Mountain Climbers - Chest Press with a Plate - Walking Lunges.
Barbell Shoulder Press - Crunches - Lunge and Twist with a Plate - Bear Crawls.
- 45s on, 15 rest."
The guys did amazing and I did some great dance moves to my ridiculous playlist! What a confidence boost.
Now today, today was interesting.
Laura is a new member at DL and I had the pleasure of doing her induction where she told me about her amazing job. Laura is a woman of many talents and performs such feats as: stilt walking, fire performance, burlesque and side show. She also let me join in on her practice and taught me another way of 'thinking outside of the box' with exercise!

Again, let's always think outside the box about moving and being healthy. Even though Laura has been out of the gym for a few months she has kept her exercise in by dancing and practising her moves!
